Air Tahiti Nui is the international airline of Tahiti and Her Islands. The airline offers 2 weekly flights from Sydney to Papeete via Auckland in conjunction with a codeshare agreement with Qantas between Sydney and Auckland. All Air Tahiti Nui flights are operated with three-class Airbus A340-300 aircraft, in which every passenger has a personal video and games screen, and receives traditional Tahitian hospitality. Although only 10 years old, Air Tahiti Nui has quickly earned a reputation for quality and service, named Best Pacific Airline from 2003-2009 in the coveted Skytrax global awards for airline excellence.
International carrier for New Caledonia Aircalin began flying in 1983 and is today equipped with a modern Airbus fleet comprising of A330 and A320 jet aircraft. Aircalin with it’s code share partners offers 8 flights per week from Sydney and 3 flights per week from Brisbane to Noumea. From Noumea Aircalin operates to Port Vila, Nadi, Papeete, Auckland and Wallis & Futuna Islands in the South Pacific plus Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul in North Asia.
